Kadai Mutton Curry Recipe 
Special mutton curry (Lamb) Recipe

Mutton curry

Mutton: 300 gm
Tomatoes: 3 Big Size
Onion Paste: 1/5 Cup
Garlic Paste: ¼ tsp
Ginger Paste: ¼ tsp
Green Chillies: 5
Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
Yogurt: 1 Cup
Coriander Powder: ¼ tsp
Bay Leaves: 3
Red Chilly Powder: 2 tsp
Coriander Leaves: 1 Bunch
Garam Masala: 2 tsp
Oil: ½ Cup
Salt: To Taste

Khadai Ghost Recipe Preparation:

Tomatoes: Chopped
Mutton: Wash & Drain
Coriander Leaves: Chop

Method:

• First heat oil in a pan and fry the green chillies.

• When the color changes, take out the green chillies from the oil and keep aside
.
• In the remaining oil, fry the drained mutton pieces to a golden brown color till almost cooked.

• Remove the fried mutton pieces from the pan and keep aside.

• In the remaining oil, splutter the cumin seeds and add the ginger-garlic paste, onion paste, chopped tomatoes and curry leaves. Saute for 3 Mins in a low heat.

• When the tomatoes are nicely mashed then add the garam masala, red chilly powder and required salt. 

Saute in a low heat and add the fried mutton pieces and bay leaves and mix it well.

• Add yogurt and cook till oil shows on the top of the surface.

• Add coriander powder, fried green chillies and close the pan with a lid.

• Cook in a low flame for few Mins and till the gravy acquires a thick consistency.

Kadai Mutton is ready to taste and garnish with the coriander leaves at the top of the curry.

• Serve hot with the rice or rotis.

Note: Kadai gosht also known as Karahi gosht is prepared in large woks called ‘Kadhai’ or ‘kadai’ or ‘karahi’ and hence it gets its name. The curry is normally red in color, quite a delicious one and it’s one of the best combinations of naan bread.papdam
